Join us for an upcoming R-STEP webinar featuring Michael Hicks, Director of the Center for Business and Economic Research at Ball State University.

Dr. Hicks will share findings from a recent research project examining the economic effects of local renewable energy restrictions on Indiana counties. Drawing on empirical analysis of wind and solar projects, this session will explore how restrictions on renewable energy investments influence GDP, employment and Fiscal conditions in Indiana counties.

This webinar will be especially relevant for local elected officials, plan commission members, economic development professionals, and community leaders navigating renewable energy proposals in their communities. Participants will gain data-driven insights to inform local decision-making and better understand the fiscal and economic tradeoffs associated with renewable energy projects.
